What did I do now?
On April 14th I rescued a baby squirrel. It's mom is most likely dead. She had a bloody nose and scraps on the face most likely from falling from the nest. She ran right up to us twice and jumped on us. Once in my hands, she curled up and went to sleep, frightened and hungry. She is now with Wild Baby Rescue in Blairstown, NJ. They are a non-profit group that rescues and rehabs orphaned and abandoned wild animals. You can help them by volunteering or donating. Here are some pics of the cute toddler squirrel:
